Biography
Andrew “Andy” Ross is an NFLPA-certified contract advisor, veteran football agent, and founder and CEO of Upper Edge Management, a boutique sports representation firm specializing in NFL contracts, athlete marketing, NIL representation, and long-term career development. Certified by the NFL Players Association since 2005, Ross has spent more than two decades in the football industry, first with major agencies including Octagon and Select Sports Group before launching Upper Edge Management. Throughout his career, he has represented numerous NFL players, including first-round draft picks Aaron Curry, Quentin Jammer, Ziggy Hood, Duane Brown, and Justin Pugh.
Ross is widely recognized for his expertise in contract negotiations and athlete advocacy. Among his notable accomplishments, he negotiated the contract that made Wyatt Teller the highest-paid right guard in NFL history and helped Ali Marpet become the highest-paid Division III football player in NFL history. He is also credited with creating the Senior Bowl’s “Junior Rule,” which allows draft-eligible underclassmen who have graduated to participate in the prestigious all-star game. Over the course of his career, Ross has negotiated more than $1 billion in NFL contracts and built an extensive network of coaches, general managers, scouts, and industry executives.
As CEO of Upper Edge Management, Ross leads a full-service agency that provides contract negotiation, marketing and endorsement services, NIL representation, draft preparation, public relations, and post-career planning. The agency emphasizes a personalized, boutique approach to representation while leveraging resources typically associated with larger firms. Under Ross's leadership, Upper Edge has expanded its presence in both professional football and the NIL marketplace, helping athletes navigate opportunities from high school and college through the NFL and beyond.
