Biography
Austin Pfenninger is an NFLPA-certified contract advisor affiliated with JL Sports and the co-founder and CEO of Pfenninger Representation Group (PRG), a sports and entertainment management firm. Certified by the NFL Players Association since 2018, he specializes in athlete representation, contract negotiations, endorsement procurement, and career management services for professional athletes. A former NCAA Division I football player, Pfenninger played wide receiver at the University of Miami, where he earned recognition for both his athletic contributions and academic achievements.
Pfenninger holds a bachelor's degree in Political Science from the University of Miami, a Master of Jurisprudence with a focus on business law and contracts from Drake University Law School, and a Master of Science in Education in Sports Administration from the University of Miami. Drawing on his academic background and firsthand experience as a collegiate athlete, he entered the sports representation industry with an emphasis on ethical advocacy, strategic career planning, and long-term relationship building. He founded PRG to provide athletes with comprehensive support that extends beyond contract negotiations to include marketing, endorsements, and business advisory services.
Through his work with JL Sports and PRG, Pfenninger has represented professional football players and advised athletes throughout the transition from college athletics to the professional ranks. His responsibilities include recruiting and evaluating talent, negotiating player contracts, securing sponsorship opportunities, and helping clients develop sustainable careers both during and after their playing days.
