Cory Cooper

Cory Cooper is an NFL Players Association (NFLPA) Certified Contract Advisor, entrepreneur, and the founder and primary agent of TOP 1 Sports Group, a boutique sports agency dedicated to representing professional football players through a relationship-driven approach. After earning his Master of Business Administration (MBA) and building a successful career in corporate business, Cooper transitioned into athlete representation with the goal of combining his business expertise and experience as a collegiate athlete to help athletes succeed both on and off the field. He became an NFLPA-certified agent in 2021 and is authorized to represent professional football players in contract negotiations, career planning, and related business matters. Before founding TOP 1 Sports Group, Cooper developed extensive experience in corporate leadership and business negotiations, skills that now form the foundation of his work as a sports agent. Drawing on his background as a collegiate athlete and years of professional business experience, he emphasizes leadership through service, authenticity, transparency, and accountability. His philosophy centers on building lasting relationships with clients, viewing them as family rather than simply athletes under representation. Under Cooper's leadership, TOP 1 Sports Group has grown into a full-service athlete representation firm offering contract negotiations, NFL Draft preparation, career management, Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) guidance, brand marketing, endorsement opportunities, public relations, philanthropy, and post-career planning. The agency is built around providing individualized support tailored to each athlete's personal and professional goals, with a strong emphasis on trust, communication, and long-term development.
