Biography
Dan Egner is an American soccer agent and Head of Operations in the United States for Nordic Sky, a Scandinavian football agency with an international player-representation platform. His work focuses on the North American market, connecting players, clubs and opportunities across MLS, USL, Scandinavia and broader international football.
Before moving into agency representation, Egner built a significant front-office background in professional soccer. He worked with Real Salt Lake and Real Monarchs, serving in technical, scouting and roster-building roles, including Technical Director of Real Salt Lake and General Manager/Sporting Director of Real Monarchs. During that period, Real Monarchs won the 2017 USL regular-season title and the 2019 USL Championship, while multiple Monarchs players moved into Real Salt Lake’s first team.
Egner’s representation profile is shaped by his experience on the club side of the game. His background includes player evaluation, roster construction, market analysis, club recruitment needs and the practical process of helping players move from development environments into senior professional opportunities. At Nordic Sky, that experience supports a representation model focused on player placement, transfer timing, club fit and long-term career planning. His work is especially relevant to players navigating the North American market, Scandinavian opportunities and pathways between domestic leagues and international football.
