Daniel MacNeil is an NFLPA-certified sports agent and attorney who serves as the founder and principal agent of Risen Sports & Entertainment, a San Antonio–based sports representation firm that operates across professional football, soccer, and coaching representation. He works within the agency’s football division, where he is responsible for athlete contract negotiation, career advisory services, and overall client representation for professional and draft-eligible athletes. MacNeil became an NFLPA-certified contract advisor in 2006 and has spent nearly two decades working in sports representation. His background includes legal training and service in the United States Army, where he developed a disciplined operational approach that later influenced his career in contract law and athlete advocacy. He is also a member of the State Bar of Texas and has been involved in sports and entertainment law throughout his professional career, combining legal expertise with sports management experience.
