Eric Eastham is an NFL Players Association (NFLPA) Certified Contract Advisor, attorney, and Senior Vice President, General Counsel, and NFL agent at The Familie, a full-service sports and entertainment agency. Certified by the NFLPA since 2018, Eastham represents professional football players in contract negotiations, career management, and long-term strategic planning while also overseeing the agency's legal affairs. His unique combination of legal expertise and athlete representation allows him to provide clients with comprehensive guidance on both the business and legal aspects of their careers. Eastham earned a Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of California, Davis, before receiving his Juris Doctor from California Western School of Law. Prior to transitioning into full-time sports representation, he spent more than a decade practicing law with Mintz, where he represented high-profile clients in intellectual property, licensing, commercial litigation, and entertainment matters. His legal work included advising organizations such as the Los Angeles Lakers, New England Patriots, Madison Square Garden, and AEG Live, giving him extensive experience negotiating complex commercial and licensing agreements. Before joining The Familie, Eastham founded ALIGN Sports Management, where he began building his football representation practice while leveraging his legal background to provide athletes with strategic career advice. In 2020, The Familie acquired ALIGN Sports Management, bringing Eastham into the agency as Senior Vice President, General Counsel, and co-head of its emerging NFL division. His arrival played an important role in expanding The Familie's football business as the agency broadened its presence in professional football representation.
