He has been certified by the NFL Players Association since 1984, making him one of the longest-tenured agents in professional football representation. Mills has represented NFL players for over four decades, including Hall of Fame-caliber talent and Heisman Trophy winners. His career spans a wide era of professional football, and he is widely recognized as a pioneer in sports law and athlete representation. He is also a past President and Director of the Sports Lawyers Association, and a founding member of the organization.
