Biography
Accomplished licensed attorney with 13+ years of experience in complex litigation, contract negotiation, and high-level legal strategy across corporate, entertainment, and sports industries. As an ENTJ-T personality type, I bring a decisive, analytical, and structured approach to legal problem-solving, consistently driving clarity, risk mitigation, and operational efficiency. My background includes serving as General Counsel, advising executive leadership, managing high-stakes disputes, and overseeing major commercial and media-related transactions. Known for strategic foresight, strong communication, and the ability to lead multidisciplinary teams through demanding legal and business challenges.
I currently serve as Adjunct Professor of Advanced Sport Law & Ethics at King University. Additionally, I’m a California and Washington licensed attorney (Previously registered as In-House Counsel in Tennessee). I recently served as GC of Salt Shaker Media, LLC, and its affiliates and connected companies, including The Hula Bowl (from April 2020-February 6, 2023).
I’ve practiced with Gordon Rees Scully Mansukhani, LLP, and was a member of their (1) Entertainment, Fashion, Media & Sports, (2) Construction, and (3) Environmental/Toxic Tort practice groups. I have practiced civil litigation, but also advised clients in non-litigation matters as well. Prior to joining Gordon & Rees, I practiced civil litigation defense for several years at a firm in Seattle.
My passions are law, government, sports, and helping people. I have authored various sports law articles, and have been involved in the entertainment industry as an Actor and Producer in film, television, and commercial/advertising productions.
I am always interested in investing in new friendships, and enjoy networking. Please do not hesitate to contact me. I look forward to hearing from you!
