Jeremy Newberry is an NFLPA-certified sports agent with Octagon, where he represents professional football players in contract negotiations, career management, and long-term athlete development. He joined Octagon's football division in 2014 after becoming certified as a contract advisor, returning to the agency that represented him during his own NFL playing career. As part of Octagon's football practice, he works with athletes throughout the NFL Draft process, contract negotiations, free agency, and career planning while contributing the perspective of a former Pro Bowl player. Before transitioning into athlete representation, Newberry enjoyed an accomplished 11-year NFL career as one of the league's premier centers. After playing college football at the University of California, Berkeley, he was selected by the San Francisco 49ers in the second round of the 1998 NFL Draft. He spent the majority of his playing career with the 49ers before finishing with the San Diego Chargers. During his time in the NFL, he earned two First-Team All-Pro selections and three Pro Bowl appearances, establishing himself as one of the top offensive linemen of his era.
