Profile

Biography

Jerome Anderson’s career started in banking and finance. He soon moved to become a football agent after assisting with a player’s financial problems. He became FIFA’s first ever licensed agent and he was instrumental in the development of the rules and regulations for agents. He developed Jerome Anderson Management in association with players from Arsenal F.C., whom he had supported since the age of four, and where he was a stadium announcer, and he became the first to introduce foreign stars to the Premier League. Anderson represented nine of Arsenal’s 1989 winning side. He has represented over 200 professional footballers throughout Europe. He played a pivotal role in the revolution of Manchester City and helped to create the “Ian Wright phenomenon.” With the creation of Sport Entertainment and Media Group, which he founded in 1984, Anderson stepped out of the football box and started representing others including heavyweight fighters. He was the agent of the “last undisputed world heavyweight champion,” Lennox Lewis, in a bout against Mike Tyson. After retiring from his position at SEM, he revoked his company shares. He was at the forefront of the establishment of the David Rocastle Trust, which was chosen as the club charity for the 2005-2006 season. The trust helps to benefit families and communities.
