Biography
Jerry Buckley founded Buckley Sports Management in 2006 and has since established BSM as a well-respected worldwide agency for professional player representation.
A native of Needham, Massachusetts, Jerry spent nearly a decade in nearby Chestnut Hill, where he attended Boston College’s Carroll School of Management, from which he graduated in 1995, and later Boston College Law School, as a member of the class of 1999. Jerry was officially admitted to the Massachusetts Bar Association in 2000.
Before Jerry ever became an accomplished college scholar and NCAA hockey player, he was an NHL draft selection. With the 84th overall pick in the fourth round of the 1990 National Hockey League Entry Draft, the Boston Bruins drafted Jerry, who would go on to Boston College, where he served as team captain in his senior season. After graduating, Jerry played one season in the East Coast Hockey League before returning to BC to begin Law School.
Jerry began his legal sports career in 1997 as a member of the Pro Athletes Management team in Boston. At PAM, Jerry assisted in the representation of many hockey talents, among them Keith Tkachuk, Bill Guerin and Mike Eruzione.
