After a ten-year professional playing career in the NFL, he transitioned into sports management and athlete representation, leveraging his on-field experience to guide players through contract negotiations and career development. Thornton played collegiate football at West Virginia University, where he was a standout defensive lineman and earned recognition as a team leader and All-American performer. He went on to be drafted into the NFL and spent his professional career with teams including the Tennessee Titans and Cincinnati Bengals, where he served as a defensive captain and contributed across multiple seasons as a consistent starter and rotational leader on the defensive line.
