Kate Ferrara

Kate Ferrara is an NFLPA-certified sports agent with Equity Sports, a full-service athlete representation agency with divisions in football, baseball, and basketball. Based in Los Angeles, California, Ferrara has been certified by the National Football League Players Association (NFLPA) since 2017 and focuses on professional athlete representation, contract negotiations, endorsement opportunities, and long-term career development. Ferrara combines a strong legal and business background with sports industry expertise. She earned her Juris Doctor (J.D.) from the University of Akron School of Law, graduating summa cum laude, as well as an MBA and bachelor's degree from the University of Akron. She is also a licensed attorney in California and New York. In addition to her agency work, she serves as Senior Counsel at Holland & Knight LLP, where her practice includes sports law, entertainment law, finance, and commercial transactions. Within her sports law practice, Ferrara advises and represents professional athletes in contract negotiations, endorsement agreements, marketing opportunities, intellectual property matters, and compliance with league regulations. She is also certified by the National Basketball Players Association (NBPA), allowing her to work across multiple professional sports sectors.
