I’ve spent my career in high-stakes environments. First as a player, now working directly with players whose decisions, preparation, and support systems carry real consequences. I played at the University of Notre Dame and spent nine years as a professional. Those years taught me that performance is only part of the job. What happens away from the court- clarity, trust, guidance, and timing—often matters just as much. Today, I lead Player Development at Priority Sports. Much of my work happens behind the scenes, alongside NBA and high-level players as they navigate the demands of the league, the weight of expectations, and the realities of life that don’t show up in box scores. The relationship at this level is built on trust. Conversations aren’t theoretical. Advice has stakes. Decisions affect careers, families, and futures. My role isn’t to motivate or manage. It’s to help players see situations clearly, make sound decisions under pressure, and grow into leadership as their roles and responsibilities change. I value clarity over noise, consistency over volume, and responsibility over optics. At this level, credibility isn’t claimed, it’s earned, quietly, over time.
