Biography
Marcus Cromartie is an NFL Players Association (NFLPA) Certified Contract Advisor and sports agent with Equity Sports, where he represents professional football players in contract negotiations, NFL Draft preparation, endorsement opportunities, and long-term career management. He became NFLPA certified in 2021 after concluding a professional playing career in the NFL, bringing firsthand experience and an athlete's perspective to player representation. As part of Equity Sports' football division, he works alongside a team of veteran agents providing comprehensive services to NFL athletes.
Before transitioning into athlete representation, Cromartie enjoyed a professional football career as a defensive back. After starring at the University of Wisconsin, where he helped the Badgers win consecutive Big Ten championships, he signed with the San Diego Chargers as an undrafted free agent in 2013. Over the course of his playing career, he spent time with the San Francisco 49ers, Buffalo Bills, Seattle Seahawks, Houston Texans, Detroit Lions, and the Montreal Alouettes of the Canadian Football League. His NFL experience provides valuable insight into the challenges players face both on and off the field.
Cromartie earned his education from Indiana University and the University of Wisconsin, combining his academic background with years of experience as a professional athlete. Since joining Equity Sports, he has focused on helping athletes navigate the business side of professional football, including contract negotiations, career strategy, and personal brand development.
