Paul T. DeRousselle is an NFL Players Association (NFLPA) Certified Contract Advisor, attorney, and founder of Paul T. DeRousselle, Attorney at Law PLLC. He also serves as an NFL agent with Maverick Sports Group, where he represents professional football players in contract negotiations, endorsement opportunities, and long-term career development. Combining a legal background with extensive experience in athlete representation, DeRousselle has negotiated more than $100 million in NFL player contracts, including one of the largest contracts ever awarded to a defensive tackle, while also securing endorsement partnerships with leading brands such as Nike, Adidas, Fanatics, Panini Trading Cards, and Leaf Trading Cards. A native of Eunice, Louisiana, DeRousselle earned his undergraduate degree from Southern University, where he was a four-year letterman on the men's tennis team. During his collegiate career, he helped lead the Jaguars to multiple Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) championships and NCAA Tournament appearances while serving as a national delegate on the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee. He went on to earn his Juris Doctor, magna cum laude, from Southern University Law Center in 2009. While in law school, he served as Vice President of the Student Bar Association, co-captain of the Mock Trial Team, Chairman of the Recruitment Committee, Associate Editor of the Southern University Law Review, and published scholarly work in sports law.
