Biography
Seth Katz is an NFL Players Association (NFLPA) Certified Contract Advisor and founder of AMG Pro Sports, a Maryland-based sports management firm that represents professional football players. Certified as an NFL contract advisor in 2013, he specializes in contract negotiations, athlete representation, career strategy, and business development for NFL players. His work focuses on helping athletes navigate every stage of their professional careers, from entering the league through free agency and long-term career planning.
Katz earned his degree from Towson University before pursuing a career in sports representation. Prior to becoming an NFL contract advisor, he established AMG Pro Sports as a marketing and athlete management company, developing endorsement opportunities and off-the-field business partnerships for professional athletes. His background in athlete marketing provided a strong foundation for expanding into full-service football representation after obtaining NFLPA certification.
Early in his career as a certified agent, Katz partnered with veteran NFL agent Joe Linta and JL Sports to represent several draft prospects, including quarterback Zach Mettenberger, fullback J.C. Copeland, wide receiver Kadron Boone, and linebacker Jack Tyler. The collaboration reflected Katz's transition from athlete marketing into contract negotiation and player representation while allowing him to gain experience working with NFL Draft prospects and veteran professionals.
