Shawn O'Gorman is an NFLPA-certified sports agent with First Round Management, where he represents professional football players while also serving in leadership roles focused on athlete marketing and Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) representation. He became certified as an NFLPA contract advisor in 2020 and has built his career around helping football players navigate contract negotiations, brand development, endorsement opportunities, and long-term career planning. At First Round Management, he currently serves as Director of NIL, leading initiatives that connect collegiate and professional athletes with marketing and business opportunities. Before entering athlete representation, O'Gorman was a collegiate football player at Florida International University (FIU), where he developed the relationships and firsthand understanding of the game that have shaped his approach as an agent. His experience as a player has enabled him to relate closely to the challenges athletes face while providing practical guidance throughout the transition from college football to the professional ranks. O'Gorman joined First Round Management early in his agency career and has played an important role in expanding the firm's football operations. In 2021, he was promoted to Co-Director of NFL Marketing alongside former FIU teammate C.J. Worton, following his work representing athletes and helping establish the agency's growing NIL practice. His efforts contributed to securing branding and endorsement opportunities for collegiate football players during the early implementation of NIL legislation, positioning First Round Management as an active participant in the evolving college athletics landscape.
