Biography

Spencer Cannold is an NFLPA-certified contract advisor, entrepreneur, and the Chief Executive Officer of Fanzoo Inc., a sports technology company that connects athletes directly with fans through a marketplace for personalized experiences. Before launching Fanzoo, Cannold built his career as an NFL agent, working in player representation and contract negotiations. He remains an active certified contract advisor based in Miami, Florida. Cannold began his sports agency career with JL Sports, where he focused on athlete recruitment, talent evaluation, pre-draft preparation, and rookie and veteran contract negotiations. A graduate of Syracuse University, where he completed an accelerated MBA program, he has credited his agency experience and mentorship under veteran NFL agent Joe Linta with shaping his approach to athlete representation. During his time at JL Sports, he represented players including NFL linebacker Daren Bates and was involved in all aspects of player management. Today, Cannold leads Fanzoo Inc., a fan engagement platform co-founded with former NFL star Rob Gronkowski. As CEO, he oversees the company's mission of creating direct, monetizable connections between athletes and fans through virtual experiences, coaching sessions, appearances, and exclusive events. His background as an NFL agent and sports executive has helped shape Fanzoo's athlete-first business model, combining expertise in player representation with sports technology and fan engagement.
