Tom Mills has been a Certified NFLPA agent since 1996. Tom received his undergraduate degree from the University of Kansas in 1990 and his Juris Doctorate from Kansas in 1994. You could say Tom has been in the agent business all his life as his father is legendary sports agent Jack Mills. Tom joined his father’s practice in 1996 and the two represented numerous first round draft picks including 2018 number one overall pick Baker Mayfield. Tom recently added NIL representation to his services noting the need for high school and college athletes to receive the quality career guidance the NFL players have been receiving. Tom says, “The college football landscape has obviously changed and without any form of certification, anyone can call themselves an agent. I felt there was a need for experienced, professional representation at this level.” He has negotiated $750M in player contracts in his career. Tom resides in Lafayette, CO with his wife, Sue. They have two adult daughters. Tom values his family, his faith, and personal client relationships.
