Biography
Wade Arnott is an NHLPA-certified player agent and seasoned representative with Newport Sports Management Inc., one of the most established hockey agencies in professional sports. Arnott holds a law degree from Concord Law School and a business degree from Wilfrid Laurier University, and he began his career with Newport in 1995, bringing both legal insight and hockey industry experience to athlete representation.
With more than two decades of experience, Arnott advises players at every stage of their development — from junior and college hockey through the NHL draft, entry-level contracts, free agency, and salary arbitration. He has helped build and manage Newport’s NHL clientele, drawing on his strong hockey background and comprehensive understanding of contract negotiation, cap strategy, and player career planning.
