Biography

Zachary A. Karber, Esq., MBA is an NFLPA-certified Contract Advisor, attorney, and founder of Karber, P.A., a Florida-based law firm that provides legal and business advisory services in the areas of sports law, business law, construction law, and property development. As a certified player agent with both the NFL Players Association and the National Basketball Players Association, Karber represents prospective, active, and retired professional athletes, offering guidance on contract negotiations, career management, and business matters. Karber founded Karber, P.A. in 2020 after several years practicing construction, commercial, and liability litigation with prominent Florida law firms. Prior to launching his own practice, he advised businesses and developers on complex legal and transactional matters, building a foundation in negotiation, risk management, and corporate strategy that now benefits his athlete clients. Before entering the legal profession, he completed an executive management training program with C1 Financial/C1 Bank, gaining experience in business operations and financial services. A graduate of James Madison University, Karber later earned both a Juris Doctor and a Master of Business Administration from Stetson University. During law school, he served as a corporate law clerk for an international manufacturing company and worked as a legislative law clerk for the office of former U.S. Congresswoman Kathy Castor, contributing legal research and policy analysis on significant federal matters. He also completed international legal studies through the Cayman Islands Law School's program on offshore financial institutions and tax law.
