Biography

Austin Brown is an NBA-certified player agent and Co-Head of the Basketball Division at Creative Artists Agency (CAA), one of the world’s most prominent sports representation firms. Brown joined CAA in 2013 and, alongside Aaron Mintz, leads one of the industry’s most influential basketball teams, managing more than $1.4 billion in NBA player contracts and negotiating high-value deals across the league. Before entering athlete representation, Brown played collegiate basketball at DePauw University and later earned his law degree from Washington and Lee University School of Law. His path into the agent business blended legal training, financial experience, and firsthand basketball insight, giving him a unique foundation for guiding professional careers.
