Lewis Gross is an NHLPA-certified player agent and President of Sports Professional Management Inc. (SPM), a long-standing independent hockey representation firm founded in 1987. Gross launched the agency after a career as a CPA with a master’s degree in taxation, building SPM around personalized service for professional athletes and a focus on long-term financial and career planning. Under Gross’s leadership, SPM represents a significant portfolio of NHL talent, including high-value contracts such as those of William Nylander, Ross Colton, Brandon Saad, and other NHL players across teams — collectively totaling hundreds of millions in active contract value. He works closely with clients and their families on contract negotiations, financial and tax planning, endorsement opportunities, and career development, prioritizing tailored representation and strategic planning both on and off the ice.
